We’re selling our Cooper-S track day car; it is a fair bit less popular with our clients than any of our other track cars, so it has seen very little use during our ~12 months of ownership. It’s sitting in storage between Leeds & Bradford with regular start ups, and is also on trickle-charge.

The current livery is a wrap:

The car is plain, dark metallic gray underneath, with yellow accenting around the headlight trim, bonnet scoop etc. There are no logos or decals underneath the wrap. See final image below.

Recently had an issue going into limp mode under power; it was the MAP sensor. The ECU rejects aftermarket MAP sensors it seems, so we have replaced it with an OEM MAP sensor. All work done on this car was carried out by Mad4MINI in Leeds - a specialist workshop familiar with track converted MINI’s.

Tires: They’ll do for a couple of track days or a shakedown, but they are too worn for competition use; you would want a fresh set for competitive use.

- New rear disks and pads (Brembo).

- New NGK spark plugs fitted (all cylinders)

- SW Motorsport roll cage.

- Bucket Seats (both sides) with 5 point harnesses.

- OMP WRC Red Edition steering wheel

- Interior is fully stripped out (besides the dash and dials). Radio, air con, electric windows are functional.

- Zero Point One quick shifter fitted.

- Aftermarket lightweight door cards (Lohen, I believe).

- 17% Supercharger pulley reduction

No accidents or off’s

Could pass an MOT if the new owner retrofitted an ABS module, airbags, and removed rear seatbelts (or install rear seats, I suppose) if you wanted to make it road legal. I have the original plates and the paperwork if you wanted to do this to save you transporting it on a trailer all the time.

The car is loads of fun on the track; very ideal for someone looking for a new track toy, or anyone on the lookout for a new (and expensive) habit!
