1965 MK1 Cortina GT
Description:
This is a 1965 MK1 Cortina GT which has had many years of successful historic racing in the UK.
I bought the car 12 months ago with the plan to fit a Lotus Twin Cam, since then my single seat racing has got in the way so the car is now for sale as I need the space!
The specification includes:-
- new extinguisher system (2025)
- new Dunlop Historic tyres (2025)
- new race battery (2025) and in date belts
- new Leda front suspension (2023)
- LSD
- straight cut close ratio gearbox
In my only test of the car the head gasket went! Consequently I am happy to sell the car without engine and ancilliaries (£16995) or open to adding the 139bhp steel cross flow engine (with new head gasket) if you would like to go that route.
The car has a V5.
