Due to age and health I am not planning to renew my HGV licence, so my truck is for sale.
2005 (55) Atego Auto - 270k miles and tested in September (50 miles ago) with no advisories.
Currently plated at 8.6 tonnes GVW, but easy to take it back to 7.5 tonnes if required.
Registered as a Private HGV on the V5, but by fitting a table mount in the living area it would then meet all the requirements to be registered as a motorhome
I owned a transport company and this truck has always been run properly, on a no expense spared basis, as any problem would have reflected on our O Licence which had a perfect record.
It has 6 matching Hankook tyres, and has had a clutch, brakes and various bushes and joints replaced to get it in A1 condition. All tail lift hoses replaced and rams overhauled as required.
It is a proper race truck body with side lockers etc - garage is 4630 long and has a remote winch and tyre rack. Tail lift with extensions in place gives a 3800 loading length.
When I bought it 5 years ago, we totally rebuilt the living accomodation with new top quality items.
It has split charging from the vehicle to cover 24v truck and 12v leisure batteries - new leisure batteries fitted last week. It also has a Solar Panel and Mains / Genny hook up also powers 12v and 24v Durite battery chargers.
Fitted with an inverter, Eberspacher night heater, 3 Way Fridge, Gas / 240v water boiler, Microwave, sink and gas hob, Radio / CD, TV and plenty sockets and USB points. Seating and headboards professionally covered in velvet, and all cabinetry by a skilled carpenter.
2 full size single beds with £700 each custom made matresses.
Decent size shower and toilet.
I built it to be a very comfortable way for my son and I to spend weekends at events and be totally self sufficient.

We have probaly spent no more tha 20 weekends away in the time we have had the truck, so everything is in virtually unused condition.
Included with the sale are all the other things needed - large inflatable awning which alone cost me £1000, water bowser to top up tank with pump etc.
It stands me close to twice what I am asking for it, but I want to sell it not sit on it for ages in the hope somebody will pay a fortune. 
Hence the first £20,000 will buy it - I doubt very much if you will find better for the money !    The registration shown in the photos is not included and it is back to a 55 plate
