Description:

Body repaired and resprayed, new windscreen and rare DHMC lightweight works hardtop. Battery relocated in boot with FIA cut-off. Roll cage with brace bar. Engine fully rebuilt 1100cc with 2" main bearings, +30 thou pistons, new crank, new clutch, unleaded gas-flowed high compression head, 270 cam with duplex chain, race manifold and electronic ignition. New fuel tank and Facet pump, new starter motor, radiator with electric fan. 

Gearbox rebuilt with new bearings and clutch. All new brake lines and s/s braided soft lines. Front brake discs drilled with Mintex pads.

Suspension 400lb front springs and telescopic shocks, wedged lowered rear with panhard rod and all new rubbers. Minilite alloys with MSAUK 1A tyres.

Handles superbly, super light-weight and huge fun to drive. Will outbrake and out corner MGBs and newer cars. I bought it to do sprints and hillclimbs with the MG Car Club with a few track days but only got as far as track days. Super reliable and docile and easy to drive on the road. Fully road legal and cheap to insure. Great value, all the work done. Could be easily prepared as a pre-66 Appendix-K HTP car.
