Presented for sale is an exceptional Honda Integra Type R DC5 endurance race car, a one-off, professionally built machine with genuine Britcar and 24-Hour race pedigree, constructed to an extremely high and uncompromising standard. Build & Provenance This car was built in 2003 from a brand-new Honda Integra Type R road car, developed by Mardi Gras Motorsport for Sean and Michael McInerly to compete in the EERC series, which later evolved into the Britcar Endurance Championship.

The Integra competed in the 2005 24 Hours of Silverstone, finishing an impressive 2nd in class, narrowly beaten only by its sister EP3, which went on to take the class victory. In 2007, the car was purchased by long-term owner Desmond Smail, who has owned and maintained the car ever since. Under Desmond’s ownership, the car competed in the Britcar 24 Hour race in 2008, 2010, and 2011, along with numerous other Britcar events, achieving a strong 14th overall finish in the 2011 Britcar 24 Hour race.
