1964 Ford Mustang 289 Notchback

This 1964 registered Ford Mustang 289 Notchback was bought for me by Gary Spencer of Classic Racing Cars in Holland (we bought two at the same time and sold the other) to be built by him as a Tour Auto car i.e. a road legal race and rally car.

Gary has worked in this world for decades and for some of the best clients for example David Hart and Chris Chiles Snr and Jnr etc. He has prepared cars that have won everything including the Tour Auto and Spa 6 hours. A dedicated professional who has to get it right.

The car had the most amazing shell which when stripped was completely as it had left the factory. It is without doubt the best shell of any Mustang out there. Tim Adams built the engine and we went testing ast Oulton Park recently and she was perfect.

The first event it entered was the first Tour Britannia and it has entered and finished every event including pure circuit races and it has won at Silverstone with none other than Nick Whale.

There are two lever arch files with a variety of programmes including Silverstone Classic 2007, 2008, 2010, Oulton Park Gold Cup, the afore mentioned Tour Britannia and the Jersey Festival of Motoring. There are lots of invoices including the recent ones which total some £25000, a variety of paperwork from over the years and of course the valuable current HTP papers.

She is by far the best looking Mustang and simply needs using by competent owners who value quality. The photographs tell most of the story but contact me if yopu want to know anything else.
