1986 Porsche 944 Turbo factory built race car for World Challenge Escort series ; This car driven by Derek Bell and  Bill Adam is 1 of 7 factory built Porsche 944 race cars designed specifically for World  Challenge Escort race series in 1986 and 1987.  This car was the 5th factory built car of 7 total cars delivered to Holbert Porsche and sold to Sewickley Porsche who campaigned the car in the 1986 Escort Series. This series of 7 built factory cars had specially engineered parts for competition by the factory including magnesium manifold  and oil pan,fiberglass hood, short throw shifter , mattar factory roll cage, special turbo  , power steering delete , sunroof delete , power window delete, recaro racing seat ,special Fuchs offset wheels ;  This car was recently restored to the original racing livery from 1986; The car retains its original factory tub , factory engine and drivetrain and body panels are all original to the car.  No major accidents or damage to this car while it was racing in competition. Motor rebuild has less than 5 hours and most recent water pump change and timing belt completed in the past year.  There are 2 binder of history information for the car including original MSO from Holbert Porsche , Lufthansa delivery documentation , race entries , set up data, Porsche factory directives , etc. ; Porsche factory provided factory drivers Derek Bell and Bill Adam  with Rothmans Sponsorship for this car in the endurance race series. The car retains its original build decal in the rear trunk panel.  Currently with the 3rd owner with complete ownership history.  Car may be legal in some states for road registration.
