A genuine 1995 factory built Vauxhall Astra GSi 2.0 16v Redtop.

After Vauxhall sold the car, it was purchased in 1998 and converted into a Super Road Saloon, Taxed, MOT, Insured to contest the British Sprint Championship, Toyo Championship, Handygas Championship, SEMSEC, BARC, BRSCC Saloons and nine British and Regional Sprint and Hillclimb Championships. Winning many at every circuit. Never had an accident, drove there and drove back.

The Astra was retired and has been stored in a dry warm workshop. It now needs a new home as I have several other race cars and I havent got the time to get it back together.

Usual mods, SBD Redtop, Quaife F20, AP Paddle clutch, Heavy Duty driveshafts and anti-torque steer carrier. Adjustable platform struts, Four Pot brakes, Bias Peddle Box. New seats, 6/points, Polly bushed, new OZ Lite's.

Bodywork all steel, full interior.

A DTA ECU and loom was put in and needs connecting to the injection Throttle bodies.

List 1a Tyres out of date.

Engine turned over every month, fresh fuel and new fuel pump fitted.

A massive spares package, including a spare Hi Torque SBD Block, race pistons, rods and crank. Tin sumps, Cometic gaskets, seals etc. F20 box, AP clutches, starters, suspension parts, brakes, discs, shafts, looms, all the original ECU's and looms, original Injection system, spare alloy sets.

A complete set of original GSi body panels off a 1995 GSi, doors, bonnet, hatch, windows, GSi body kit and spoilers. Original GSi Bumpers, all standard.

You will need a trailer for the car and a Transit size van for the spares. I can always deliver the car in a race car transporter, but you will still need a van for the spares.

I have full documentation, V5 Logbook, original MOT's, build spec. Magazine features, race results. Images. 

This is a whole parcel, no splitting. Spend a few weekends on her and the car would be worth £35k +. So a sensible offer may be accepted.

Suitable for many diciplines in motorsport, race, sprint, hill. Could make a nice rally car. as well as the Classic Championships.
