Ex works Boreham-built Ford Puma S1600, driven by Kris Meeke and Ryan Champion in 2002/2003. Originally built at Boreham and run by Chris Birkbeck Motorsport in the British Rally Championship during the 2002/2003 seasons.

Recently fully rebuilt from a bare shell by RED in 2022 and completed only around 30 stage miles since. The car has since been kept in storage and is ready to start a rally.

Specification includes a 238 bhp engine running on a Life Racing ECU, Ford throttle bodies with 8 injectors, 6-speed sequential Hewland gearbox which has just been rebuilt, and Reiger tarmac suspension rebuilt by Reiger UK.

The car is currently in tarmac specification and is fitted with 355 mm front discs, Alcon calipers, rebuilt rear beam and arms, rebuilt front uprights, TCAs, compression struts and steering arms. Seats and belts were new in 2022, and the fire extinguisher system has been serviced in line with MSA requirements.

Location and Viewing

I bought the car in the UK approximately two years ago and brought it to the CZ, with the intention of using it in local rally events. In the end, I moved into a Rally4 car instead, so the Puma remained stored and untouched.

Personal viewing in the Czech Republic is welcome by arrangement. I am also happy to arrange a detailed video call and show the car.

The car has not been deregistered in the UK, so from a registration point of view it should be straightforward to return it to use there.
