Produced June 1963 and sold new in Sweden 1964.

Original early chassisplate and the rare Bourne body number chassis plate aswell.

The car raced SSK 1965 "Front page of a magazine"  in std specs and was used as fast road / track car until 1981 where it was stored away in a garage.

The previous owner then wanted to make it race ready as todays rules and therefore fitted a full roll cage, 26R wide arches, 26R headlights, LSD diff, all new dampers, harder springs, reinforcement to the chassis, TTR super lightweight hardtop, wide Minilite wheels, large core radiator, tubular exhaust manifold etc.

The car is running with it`s original engine that have got a "Sprint" upgrade.

Very rare early S1 model with all the original chassis plates, V5 registration and even the original registration from 1964!

Tis is a rare opportunity to get an early Elan that has 2 owners from new and most of the original parts such as the special fiberglass glove box, seats, gauges etc.

Could be a fine original road Elan or a 26R spec racing car, or both?
