The Role

We are looking for an experienced No1 Race Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work on a wide range of race and project vehicles, carrying out preparation, maintenance, diagnostics, and development work to the highest standards.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about motorsport and performance engineering who enjoys working in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Race car preparation, maintenance, and setup
• Engine and drivetrain installation and development
• Diagnostics, servicing, and repair of high-performance vehicles
• Supporting the build and development of project and race vehicles
• Ensuring vehicles meet performance and safety standards
• Working closely with the team to continuously improve vehicle performance

What You'll Be Working On

• Race car builds and preparation
• Performance engine and drivetrain installations
• High-level diagnostics and fault finding
• Development work on race and project vehicles
• Setup, servicing, and maintenance of competition vehicles

What We're Looking For

We want technicians who care about the details and take pride in their work. Someone who has great organisational effectiveness and leadership, self-esteem, motivation, and goal setting skills.

Experience with the following platforms is highly desirable but not 100% necessary:

• VAG Group – Audi, Volkswagen, SEAT, Skoda
• BMW
• Porsche

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience in performance, motorsport, or specialist workshops
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic ability
• A high standard of workmanship
• A genuine passion for performance engineering and motorsport

Other requirements:

• Previous experience as a performance or race technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work to a high standard in a fast-paced workshop
• Passion for motorsport and vehicle performance
• Team player with a strong work ethic
• Basic tools are required, specialist tools provided
• Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and EU
• Full UK driving licence
