The Porsche 991 GT3 Cup represents the purest expression of motorsport engineering from Porsche — a purpose-built race car developed for one thing only, winning on track. Derived from the legendary 911 platform and engineered for the globally renowned Porsche Supercup and Carrera Cup championships, the 991 GT3 Cup combines razor-sharp performance with proven endurance reliability.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six engine producing over 480bhp, the GT3 Cup delivers an unmistakable soundtrack and instantaneous throttle response through a six-speed sequential gearbox. Originally delivered new in November 2016, this Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (991.1) was supplied as the official Porsche Sweden celebrity car for the Carrera Cup Scandinavia Championship. In 2023, the car was acquired by Philip Walker, who campaigned it in selected HSCC events before selling it to its current owner at the end of 2024, with the intention of contesting the 2025 Castle Combe GT Championship alongside his son.

Following an unfortunate accident, the car underwent a comprehensive professional rebuild to an exceptionally high standard by Robin Ward of Damax Motorsport in Brackley — a highly respected operation with extensive experience preparing and running GT and historic race cars. The repair process was meticulously documented throughout, with photographs retained at all key stages.

As part of the rebuild programme, the gearbox was removed and sent to a specialist transmission company for a full rebuild, ensuring that the car is mechanically prepared to the highest level. Upon completion, it underwent a full shakedown and test programme at a recent BRDC track day, carried out by renowned professional driver Nigel Greensall. Having previously driven the car, Nigel confirmed that in his opinion it was 'perfect' and fully race-ready.

Importantly, the car retains exceptionally low engine mileage, with approximately 60 engine hours from new — a rare and highly desirable attribute for a 991 GT3 Cup. With Porsche recommending a major engine rebuild at approximately 100 hours, the next owner benefits from substantial remaining running time before any significant engine expenditure is required.
