E36 M3 Race Car – Sub 1100 kg

Originally built for Colin Wells by Butler Motorsport and went on to win Kumho BMW Championship. Then purchased by Amspeed driver and maintained by them until recently.

E36 M3 fitted with Custom Cages full FIA multipoint roll cage with physical certification for UK and European events. 

S50B32 – 7hrs since Butler Motorsport refresh (Terry Wilson.) 332hp mapped by Wayne Schofield of Chipwizards.
GFK large volume airbox and collector
Twin lift fuel pumps and Bosch 044 pressure pump

AP Racing front & rear brakes, Pagid RS29 brake pads. BMW ABS, remapped by Chipwizards. 

ZF 5spd gearbox, with quick shift and double sheer selector rod.
4.1:1 Multi Plate LSD 210mm case

Nitron R3 remote reservoir dampers all round. 
BMW lightweight aluminium front wishbones, 
Amspeed roll centre optimised rear subframe and adjustable anti roll bars front and rear 
Eibach adjustable rear camber arms

Fibreglass bonnet, bootlid & front wings. 
Steel bonnet & bootlid also included.
Aluminium doors fitted both sides, lexan rear screen, side windows & windscreen. 

Amspeed carbon fibre dashboard, with Stack gauges

Good all round condition, had respray in early 2026 so paint is very tidy. Considerable recent investment in the car including new radiator, new oil cooler, all fluids changed, new seat & fire extinguisher etc.

I bought this car for a specific long distance event in France which was sadly cancelled, so having spent the money to get it race ready for that event, it’s now surplus to requirements. The car has been prepared to pass scrutineering tomorrow if required .
