BMW M50 is a family of internal combustion engines running on gasoline produced from 1989 to 1995 by BMW.
Architecture 6-cylinder in-line DOHC; Electronic fuel injection; distribution of type DOHC 4 valves per cylinder.
The maximum output power from this engine was 150 hp at 5900 rpm, while maximum torque is 190 Nm at 4700 rpm.

This engine has been used since 1990; and it has been fitted to BMW 320i E36 (1991-95) and BMW 520i E34 (1990-92).
