This Lola is possibly the most up to date Historic chassis available. The last date before the 1983 cut off for Sports 2000 in UK. It is also HSCC eligable, I understand  that club has now extended their date for Historics.

There are a number of races this car can run in both in the UK and in Europe and America. This has not been run since a Historic win in Spa. It has a number of wins / podiums in class in Sports 2000 over the last few years It is quite cabable of winning outright in the correct hands. Micheal Gibbons won the full championship in a 590 chassis. 

It is not mint but has been a used car, I think if anyone offers a mint car it has not been at the pointy end of a grid I suggest unless fully rebuilt. It is possibly better to aquire one that has been racing so it can be seen warts and all rather than covered up. The lettering on the car is removable, it is not painted.

There is a set of wheels for wets that go with this Lola. A Lola or a Tiga has won the sports 2000 Pinto championship almost every year recently.

The Pinto engine is still around and not too expensive to buy or work on. The Gearbox is standard Hewland so again fine for parts.

This is one of the most economical classes to race in with a good supportive club and a friendly and helpful group of people.
