Gould GR/55 hillclimb car offered for sale as a complete package. This is a well known and competitive car which has competed in the British Hillclimb Championship for the last 10 years.

The car was built new in 2006, and I bought it in 2010. Since then, the car has had all of the major factory upgrades from the original car i.e.

Aero upgrade kit - new rear floor, barge boards, sidepod infills and wheel inserts/ covers
Traction control – with SQ6 ECU all wiring mods, steering potentiometer etc
Paddle shift system

It is fitted with the 2800cc version of the Nicholson Maclaren XB V8 engine. The engine was fully rebuilt at the end of 2013 and has done 2 full seasons since (2014 and 2015) and 4 meetings in 2016. Last year (2017), the engine went back to Nicholson Maclaren for an interim service and inspection -

Intrascope inspection of engine internals
Cylinder leak down check
Check / reset all valve clearances
Check and re-tension timing chain
Change oil / fuel filters
They also replaced the rear crank oil seal

New Techniques have serviced the gearbox and cleaned the oil tank out.
 

The dampers have also been rebuilt and re-valved recently.

The clutch has been cleaned and shim clearances checked and the engine and gearbox oil and antifreeze have all been replaced.

The car is now fully rebuilt and ready to go for the 2018 season.

Asking £90,000 to sell as a complete package, will include a Dastle Racebox trailer which I have owned from new since 2006, 3 additional sets of wheels and tyres, pre-heater, all batteries, CTek chargers, air cylinder for the gearbox pneumatic, gearbox spares including spare ratios, 2 brand new sets of pawls and used but good inner and outer cam tracks, springs, spare carbon air tank etc etc. We can also help support the new owner for a few meetings this year (within UK).
