Shelsley Special - Marengo 1  

 

Tony Pashleys original designed and built successfull 600cc class car with many Hillclimb and Sprint class wins. This is a very well developed car with superb balance, capable of beating cars in larger engined classes.

Qualifies as a Shelsley Special and has won the class on two occasions.

 

Yamaha R6 engine with flat slide carbs and baffled sump.

Two sets of Magnesium Lola wheels.

Complete with purpose built trailer.

Note that it is has a small cockpit which is not suitable for large framed drivers!

 

Car has been laid up in dry garage since it’s last event in 2009, so will require some recommissioning including new battery, carb cleaning and fresh tyres.
