Description:

Welcome to "klassiker-auktionen" and ''die-oldtimer.boutique'' : For more than twenty years we have been owning, trading and servicing classic cars, race cars and supersport cars - so we decided to combine both and are proud to present you here the most beautiful and best vehicles of our stock:

Like here now this extremely rare British super sports car: INVICTA S1 320 Coupé from 2009!

The origins of the Invicta Company go back to 1924, when Noel Macklin and Oliver Lyle joined forces to create a car that combines American flexibility and performance with European quality and roadholding.

The most recent chapter in Invicta's history began in 1980 when Mike Bristow acquired the rights to the brand and began producing "continuation" versions of the brand's most coveted model: the 4-litre S-type "LowChassis". He also had plans for a modern Invicta, which made its debut at the 2002 British International Motor Show. This was the S1, a deep-drawn coupé designed by Chris Marsh, a man with rich experience in specialty vehicle development and endurance racing.

Manufactured in collaboration with Leigh Adams of Automotive Design & Prototyping Ltd., the S1 contained only proven components from mass production vehicles to reduce costs and increase reliability. A Ford Mustang V8 engine and gearbox were chosen and the powertrain was built into an enormously strong tubular steel chassis equipped with a Racing wishbone suspension and AP ventilated disc brakes. The carbon fibre body was bonded to the chassis and contributed to the torsional stiffness of the vehicle, while a concealed integrated roll cage held the occupants securely in the event of a rollover.

As one would expect from a car with a list price more then £150,000 (about 185,000 €) at the time, the Invicta was exceptionally well equipped with leather upholstery, power steering, heated front and rear windows, air conditioning, electric windows, satellite navigation and central locking in the series. The maximum speed is approx. 290 km/h and the acceleration from 0-100 km/h approx. 5 seconds.

This rare, modern British super sports car from 2009 comes from a private collection. Offered with the British V5C document, it has only covered approx. 17,000 km and is presented in a correspondingly good condition.
