Description:

Ford Cortina FIA Historic 1500GT rally/track car.

Just been setup on the dyno, healthy 97Hp/175Nm at the rear wheels.

Been built from a nice solid, never raced 1967 1500 Deluxe car (not an original Ford Cortina 1500GT).

Will be sold with a new FIA passport.

Engine:

Standard 1500 engine, new main bearings & piston rings.

KCBCF-2 Camshaft

Twin 40 Webers.

Gearbox:

Standard 1500 with long 1st

Axle:

Standard 1500 without Lsd as per FIA regulations.

Brakes:

Front – Nearly new discs with new pads.

Rear – Large 9” drums with new shoes & cylinders.

All new brake pipes.

Suspension:

Front – New Monroe inserts.

Rear – New Monroe dampers.

Roll cage:

Custom built within FIA accordance, 45mm main loop and 38mm supports.

Seats & Belts:

Seats and belts are out of date and will need updating depending on what your plans are for the car, shame as the seats are like new.

Electrics:

Most of the electrical system has been renewed, fuse box is in the glove box.

Electric fuel pump.

Electric fan.

I am sure to be missing some stuff but the above will give you a good idea and the photos will explain the rest.

Paint work isn’t the best, but it is good enough for a competition car.

The car is road registered, registering it in another country won’t be a problem.

It is now fitted with the Minilights and not the whit steel wheels.
