Description:

Ford Escort 1.1

Nice and solid, hardly had any welding.

Complete Ford Escort that is ready to use as is, has a current Finnish MOT/TUV.

It is a 1.1 but has a 1.3 engine fitted, also a twin chock carburettor. Original carburettor and manifold is included with the car.

Exterior:

Original colour is yellow, but the previous owner resprayed the outside with a spray can, as you can imagine it isn’t a good finish but not the worst that I have ever seen either.

The exterior looks nice and straight and doesn’t seem to have had any mayor repairs, looks quite original and the few places that need looking at are clearly visible in the photos.

The front wings and valance have been changed at some stage.

Interior:

The interior is quite good for its age, driver’s seat is worn. Roof lining hasn’t got any rips and is quite clean, rubber floor mat is also in good original condition. I lifted the floor mats up in places to have a look at the floor, the original sound proofing is still attached which shows that the floors are original.

Engine bay/Boot area:

The engine bay is solid and original, there is a small repair near the battery cut out area (see photo).

The boot area is also nice and solid, spare wheel well has had a repair 8see photo) but other than that it is original.

Underneath/Chassis:

As you will see in the photos, the underneath of the car is in great original solid condition..very rare now days.
