For sale is my Westfield Megablade. Originally built by AB Performance on a 2005 chassis and raced successfully in the early RGB series up to 2013/14. The car has had over £100k spent on it over the years including the development costs. The car has been stripped and rebuilt a few times in preparation for the race seasons. I acquired the car in 2016 and quickly blew the engine (completely my own fault). This was replaced with a 2015 Blade SP unit sourced from AB Performance and prepared at the AB Performance workshop. Prior to the 2018 season the car underwent a full re-spray. I am currently the 5th owner of the vehicle and have enjoyed what I have done in the car, however, the car is not being utilised to its full potential at present and so it is time to pass it on to someone who will.

As previously mentioned, the car has been taken apart and put back together several times with various owners and I am no exception. It is a simple car to understand but takes some getting used to if like I was, you are not familiar with driving a bike engine car (hence my expensive early engine disaster and a sharp learning curve). Andy at AB Performance helped me to understand the engine, (and how to run it properly), and I have been getting progressively quicker in the car since. My last event at Anglesey saw me with a 2nd and 3rd in class and a 2nd overall in the event.
The car is a ready to go Race Car. Great if you have a race license or highly capable on a track day beating much more expensive machinery. The cornering ability is astonishing, and the acceleration is phenomenal. If you have never driven a bike engine car; then prepare to be amazed.
This is a well sorted race car which would not be able to be built for the asking price. Initially built by AB Performance; the last word in bike engine race cars, the car is completely track focussed and is not road registered.
I am open to any reasonable offer and may be able to deliver the car at the cost of the fuel (and maybe a coffee) to the buyer.
I live up in the North of Scotland so viewing may be difficult. If you have questions, I’m sure that Andy Bates at AB Performance will be able to tell you some of the history of the car if you show the ad.
