Description:

Selling my Westfield Aerorace racecar.  Built by us originally in 2014 from brand new kit from Westfield to race in the 750mc Sports Specials championship. Raced until 2017 when it was sold to do other things (car is a race winner both in class and outright). Bought back in 2023 as a rolling chassis and went though a complete bare chassis rebuild to include…. Extra chassis bracing by Siltech racing and repainted, new panels throughout (also painted), new Protech single adjustable shocks all round, Willwood Powerlite front calipers and Westfield/Hi-spec rear calipers, front and rear anti roll bars, newly built Ford Duratec 2.5 engine with forged pistons, steel rods, CNC ported and gas flowed head, uprated oil pump, race cams, raceline sump and cam cover, race clutch, jenvey 45 throttle bodies and Omex 600 ECU. Retro Ford water rail.  Produced 262bhp and 220 ft/lbs of torque on Nothampton motorsports rolling road,  geometry set up was done there too. Rebuilt type 9 gearbox with Quaife pro gearkit, 7” Sierra diff with Quaife ATB lsd fitted, New oil cooler and oil lines, New propshaft fitted, new extinguisher system and race harness (both in date), carbon fibre race seat, Mikmade carbon fibre front splitter, fibreglass half doors and tonneau cover to suit, race technologies digital dash, set of Team Dynamics pro race 1.2 wheels (7”x13”) with Avon ZZR tyres in Extreme compound which have only done a test to run in the engine so didn’t even get up to racing temperatures.  Reluctant sale after spending a fortune doing the rebuild but a change in job means I’ll be unable to race any more hence the sale.   Viewing is welcome so the quality of the build can be appreciated in the flesh.  Reduced to £20k which is far less than it owes me. We’ve built several kit cars over the years all to a very high standard and are known amongst the paddock for the quality of car we turn out.  The term “track weapon” is often banded about on adverts for bang average cars which always makes me chuckle but this one actually lives up to that description.  Eligible for various championships or would make a great trackday car. As it was built purely for racing it’s not road registered but I would think it could be put through an I.V.A with some minor changes.
