Renault R5 TDC race car replica
Originally fitted with a Renault Alpine engine and original UN1 transmission, now running a Audi 1.8T 20v engine and 012 transmission. This was done as the Audi engine has proven to be a much more reliable unit.
Audi (BAM) engine has eagle cranks, Wiseco, ACL, ARP. SKM exhaust kit and Holset HX35 super turbo. The transmission is made of DSC 1.2 gears, and CGT 3,4,5. The flywheel is made of T6 billet aluminium with 7.25 "ACS double clutch plates.
400hp / 550N torque, at 0.9 bar boost pressure. Mega Squirt 3.0 Engine Control, Direct Ignition, 1300cc Ethanol / Gasoline Fuel Injectors.
Wilwood dynalite brakes, 265mm discs front & rear.
7x13 Inc. Performance rims 4-piece set. The pictures show Rota wheels 8x15.
The roof and doors are sheet metal, otherwise all is fiberglass. Comes with other fiberglass parts. The front is made to flip and rear fenders and skirts. Original tailgate.
The car has been racing from 2010 to 2017.
Original Alpine engine is built with racing parts (185hp) and is included, also UN1 transmission.
