JSCC 2003 Saxo VTR race car
The race car started life as an original 2003 Saxo VTR which was complete, true and straight with no damage or any welding needed. The car was fully stripped to a bare shell, and then was shot blasted and primed ready for the roll cage fitted by Custom Cages.
Only selling as we are moving into senior racing. No exspence was spared on the build, and the race car has been fully maintained after every race. The car is a front runner and has had some great results. From the back of the grid of the grid at Cadwell Park 2022 the car was third quickest and came from 26th to finish 5th, also got a 2nd at Snetterton, 4th at Knockhill, all of which can be watched on YouTube and my sons Facebook account.
All the original parts were shot blasted and powder coated, new championship rebuild engine, new starter motor, new altinator, new injectors, new water pump, new radiator, new silicone water hoses, new cam belt and tensioner, new drive belt, new rad fan MK1 behind the rad, reconditioned steering rack, all new suspension with championship springs and shockers, new back axel, all new complete fuel cell, housing and FIA fuel hoses and billet fuel filter and Bosch 044 fuel pump, new HRX race seat and harnesses, rebuilt and paint brake callipers, new disks, championship pads, new wheel bearings all round, new screen, championship drivers Carbon fibre side protection panel, new door cards, all new switch panels and switches, fully rebuilt gear box, new drive shafts, new gear linkages and bulkhead mount, and lots more which we have all invoices to prove all parts were new and fitted at the time of the build last year.
after some damage last year the car was stripped and had a complete new front end fitted, engine removed checked and repainted, injectors were sent away and checked and serviced, a new altinator and coolant rad we're both fitted, the gearbox was sent away and rebuilt, new drive shafts were fitted, new disks, brake fluid replaced, shockers were serviced, new championship exhaust and air filter fitted, then the car was sent to Jonny Milners for four wheel alignment which I have a copy, and then across to Tom Bell to check and set the engine up on the rolling road which I have the print out.
all the fuel cell, race seat harnesses, fire system etc were new at the time of the build and are in date.
the car sunstained damage at Croft so a complete rear axel beam is being fitted, realigned and fully checked. A new front wing is being painted and fitted so the car is perfect for a new racing driver. The car has always been repaired to the highest standard, and the oil was changed after every race meeting, no expense was spared. I have every invoice and photos to prove all the above. You won't find another car on the grid like this, it handles and performs perfectly, videos on Facebook and YouTube to show its a front running car.
