Built to be raced in the Tegiwa Racing Hondas Championship, in their Class A Category:

• Tyres: Slicks, semi-slicks & racing wets

 

The car was turned into a race vehicle by Motion Motorsport, using a pre-owned FN2 Civic sourced by Tegiwa. The car has been built to comply with Motorsport UK Saftey regulations and to Class C Club Enduro specification. A brief list of parts included in the build are listed below:

- FIA 4.25l fire supression system

- Tegiwa FIA/MSA battery kill switch

- Tegiwa exhaust manifold with Miltek exhaust

- Tegiwa cold air induction kit

- Yellow speed racing 6piston front brake kit, Pagid RSL29 endurance race pads & RPB brake lines

- 90l fuel capacity

- Tegiwa Aluminium radiator

 

The vehicle's engine has been Dyno proven to be capable of 400bhp/260lb/ft, however it has currently been detuned to circa 300bhp to meet race requirements. The engine was professionally assembled and tuned by TDI North (with bills up to almost £20,000!) and the specification is as follows:

- Honda K20: 2021cc

- 86.50mm Omega forged pistons 

- Saenz I Beam rods 

- 8.8:1 Compression 

- Single beehive valve springs 

- Inlet cam - 13mm lift with 340 Deg duration @ 0.1mm lift

- Exhaust - 12mm lift with 329 Deg duration @ 0.1mm lift 

- ARP rod bolts 

- ARP head stud - nut kit 

- light weight clutch / Flywheel 

- balanced rotating assembly 

- Rotrex inter-cooled supercharger kit 

- Upgraded in-tank fuel pump 

- ID injectors 

- Hondata Flashpro ECU
