Description:

SL73/133 was built in 1968 as one of the last of 16 coupe MK3 GT. Sold new to Robs Lamplough as a bare chassis with parts, the car was completed in UK before being sold to Jean-Michel Giorgi of Paris, France as a part exchange with GT40 P/1005.

Giorgi would enter the new T70 in several races in France, mainly in Montlhéry, including the Paris 1000 Km, the Paris GP and Coupe de Paris.

Giorgi sold the car to De Paoli from Brasil in early 1969. Still painted dark green, SL73/133 would race in several national and regional races in Brazil, winning twice at Rio de Janeiro.

In 1970, another Brazilian driver, Norman Casari, acquired the T70 and painted it orange. With sponsorship from Brahma, Casari raced the car at Interlagos for the Brasilian 1000 miles (10th) and the Copa Brasil (DNF).

For the 1971 season, still painted orange with Brahma livery, Norman Casari raced the T70 in Brasil (Interlagos 500 Km, International Taruma race, …), and in Angola (Nova Lisboa 6 hours).

During the Interlagos 500 Km race in September 1971, Casari lost control in turn 3 and heavily crashed.

The remains of the car were later sold to the US, and in the 2000's the car was entirely reconstructed.

SL73/133 then raced successfully with the last owner in historic racing in Europe. It is very well known and has had a lot of success in CER (Peter Auto) where it regularly was a front runner.

It is fitted with a 5.7 L Chevrolet with Webers, and a Hewland LG600.

It comes with a new HTP valid for 10 years.
