Description:

Chassis LS1-0038. Engine number LM-035. One of 65 factory race cars built. I have owned the car for 10 years and used it for track days. Before my ownership, the car was part of a Lotus collection and was virtually new. On the lift and with the wheels removed, everything still looks new (chassic is like new, suspension still plated in yellow zinc, etc.).

Maintenance over its life included regular oil changes between track days, gearbox oil changes, rebuilt brake system (front and rear calipers with brake caliper seals), new rotors and pads, new steel brake lines, new CV boots, new engine air filter, upgraded to silicon radiator and engine bay cooling hoses, new safety belts, and I added a remote thermostat. Other details: 

• Original Rover K series VHPD engine with remote thermostat
• Original 5-speed gearbox with straight cut gears
• Titan throttle bodies
• Original ECU (not an Emerald, although would benefit from one)
• Carbon fiber interior trim
• Safey Devices roll cage
• Fire bottle system and electrical emergency cut-off switch
• AP Racing 4 piston front calipers and AP racing 2 piston rear calipers
• Front-Rear brake bias adjustment
• Stack instruments with data logging ability
• Original Speedline Corse magnesium wheels
• Yokohama Advan slicks
• Upgraded rear carbon wing (I have the original carbon wing)
• Original passenger seat (comes with the car, currently removed)

It's a wonderfully balanced car and extremely fun to drive. Forgiving, and still very quick. The gear changes are flawlessly smooth and and the Rover K engine has tons of character.
