Purchased in 2017, then commenced a complete nut and bolt rebuild in 2018 to modify it for Hill climb and sprinting.

Stock Renualt FR2.0 engine. Cam belt replaced 2018. Many Gaskets replaced.

Clutch pack replaced with new.

New cooling radiators and aluminium pipework.

Suspension spherical joints replaced (new aluminium housings)

Low ratio gear set (most suited to hillclimbing and sprinting). Medium ratio set included in sale.

All bodywork and chassis components stripped and repainted or powercoated.

All Brake lines replaced along with other hoses.

Lower capacity Aluminium fuel tank replaced bladder tank. Old bladder tank included.

Fire extinguisher removed for hill climb and sprinting and electronics relocated to old extinguisher position behind seat.

Turnbuckles added to pushrods to increase ride height for hillclimbing.

AIM Datalogger system, with GPS positioning

Steering rack modified to give extra lock for hillclimbing.

FIA approved Carbon Fibre Chassis made by Tatus - Bare tub weighed 45Kg.

In the following years, it has been successfully double driven by father and son and further modifications were made, including;

DJ Racecars front 153 wing, flaps and vortex endplates – all made from prepeg Carbon Fibre to exceptional standard.

DJ Racecars Rear 183 wing, flap and endplates – all made from prepeg Carbon Fibre to exceptional standard.

Geartonics pneumatic flappy paddle gearchange – total loss system, with throttle blipper.

Gear position display using Raspberry Pi.

 

Seatbelts have expired last year, so will need replacing before competing, other than that the car is ready to race and have lots of fun with.

This car is very tidy and up together, no modifications have been made to the engine, so there is a lot of potential to get even more out of the car, if you wish to do so; however there is a lot of fun to be had with it as it is.
