Welcome to the sale of my Honda Civic Type R EP3 circuit race car!

I’ll try and list everything the best I can but it’s going to be a long one!

The car is in essence ready to be entered straight back into the Type R trophy bar a couple of bits like extinguisher and to put the regulation spec tyres & brake pads back on. 

Spec List:

INTERIOR:

- Safety Devices full multi point bolt in roll cage MSA approved 

- Cobra race seat 

- TRS red 5-point harness (dated until 2028)

- Fire extinguisher system with internal & external pull points (extinguisher has just gone out of date and needs a retest)

- Genuine Personal grinta alcantara steering wheel with NRG snap off boss kit

- Racelogic VBOX 2 in car HD camera & dash display system for lap times, speed etc (£2500 new)

- Fully stripped out and most of dash gutted. Heater blower is retained for de misting

ENGINE & BOX:

- K20 unit, previous owner had a new head fitted by MJ motorsport around 2022 and the car was then dynod at 215bhp which is the maximum for the Type R Trophy. The car has done 2 race meetings & 2 test days since then. 

- Tegiwa ram induction kit 

- Innovative mounts aluminium engine & gearbox mounts

- HEL pipe for slave cylinder 

- Tegiwa silicone hoses 

- Tegiwa competition aluminium radiator and rad cap 

- Lightweight Odyssey battery

SUSPENSION:

- Yellow Speed Racing fully adjustable coilover all round with camber adjustments 

- Upgraded larger anti roll bars front & rear 

- Rear camber arms 

- Adjustable steering arms 

- Some upgraded bushes in arms etc & new bottom ball joints 

BRAKES:

- Had new front calipers in 2022 

- FERODO DS2500 pads 

- Pagid discs 

- Performance brake hoses all round 

Wheels & Tyres:

- Rota Force 17x8 white lightweight alloys 

- Yokohama AO52 race tyres (just over £1000) - These have done 1 wet test day and are in excellent condition

I’ve owned this car since November 2022 and competed in 2 CSCC races during 2023 as well as a couple of test days. I’m looking to go down a class or 2 hence sale of the Civic. 

It has truly been faultless and is a very well specced and fast car when set up properly. 

The engine revs out pulls hard all the way through the rev range. Clutch is great and brakes have good feedback. 

Bodywork is tidy for a race car but does have a scrape down the drivers side and a few other little marks around the car but would look miles better with a livery on it.

The car was originally a Tegiwa car and built by Tegiwa as one of the promotional cars used to promote the Type R trophy. I’ve attached a photo of the car with its old livery on. It was sold by Luke at Tegiwa to the person I bought the car from a couple of years later who was selling due to health reasons and again saw limited use.

I’ve had to put a steering rack on the car so the front needs setting up properly again as the steering wheel is off center and tracking is out however I’m sure whoever buys it will go over it anyway. 

Have a few spares that can go with the car like spare auxiliary belts, idler pulley and Motul race brake fluid and an old set of Nankang AR1s that might have a track day left in them

I’m happy to discuss negotiability within reason and I’m also happy to knock money off and retain the VBOX system as I’d use this in my next car so there’s a few options, however the car won’t be given away and I’m happy to keep it until presented with an offer I’m happy with so no dreamers please!
