1963 Jaguar E Type race car FIA HTP 2028

Developed via top Jaguar race preparers, Denis Welch Motorsport in 2018 to semi lightweight Period F GTS12 spec with full FIA HTP papers 

Over the course of the next 6 months invoices on file show that Denis Welch further developed the car including rebuilding the gearbox, fitting new internals and bell housing, fitting new fuel tank, brake ducting, new exhaust system. Invoices on file over the 6 month period amount to £48,500.

The car was then sent to Valley Motorsport where further development work was carried out including fitting a new 3.7 CWP and LSD and the diff rebuilt and cooler fitted. Set up work was carried out with new anti roll bars, bottom arms and torsion bars. The car was raced at 2019 Donington Historic where the previous owner finished 3rd in class Invoices on file show a further £20,000 spent on the car.

The cars has been part of my collection since 2022 but not really raced. In 2025 a brand new engine was commissioned and built by Nick Finberg and his team at Classic Autos at a considerable cost with a steel Crosthwaite and gardner crank benching at 350BHP and great torque, the engine has the mandatory Motorspot UK seals and certificates which will be needed for 2026 season, with the new historic legislations being introduced the car has done no mileage or track time since the new engine was installed so it is box fresh. The bonnet and body work of the car were refurbished also in 2025 and are now immaculate and ready to go possibly a few stone chips on the rear wings aside the car is immaculate

The car is effectively a new out of the box race car which just needs setting up to the racing style of the next owner either circuit racing, road use or a highbrid of both 

With UK road registration and FIA HTP until 2028 this car is eligible for Silverstone Festival, Donington Festival Jaguar Classic Challenge, Equipe GTS, GTSCC, HSCC Guards Trophy, HRDC, Le Mans Classic, Peter Auto, Masters Gentleman Drivers and Goodwood as well as road events such as Tour Auto and Modena Cento Ore or a fast road race car, as well as Goodwood Members Meeting 

Priced to sell at a fraction of the money that has been put into the car,at £135,000 I have a collection of race cars and just havent had the time to give this beautiful race car the track time it deserves, end of season bargain if it dosent sell it will stay in my collection
