This BMW M3 E30 Group A, built to 1988/1989 specification, represents a rare opportunity to acquire a meticulously restored and race-ready example of one of touring car racing’s most iconic models. The car was comprehensively rebuilt in 2021 in our workshop with a clear focus on authenticity, performance and long-term durability. During the rebuild, the bodyshell was fully stripped, zinc-phosphate coated and professionally refinished, resulting in an exceptional standard of corrosion protection and overall presentation.

Power comes from a period-correct 2.3-litre Group A S14 engine producing approximately 284 horsepower. The engine has covered only around 500 kilometres since its rebuild and is managed by a modern MBE motorsport engine management system, combining classic Group A character with reliable and precise control. The drivetrain features a competition gearbox paired with a 4.45:1 limited-slip differential, delivering sharp acceleration and excellent traction.

The chassis is equipped with high-end Intrax four-way adjustable ARC suspension, including Group A aluminium front struts and center-lock hubs, providing outstanding adjustability and balance. Braking performance is ensured by a professional motorsport brake system with AP Racing Pro 5000 components, offering strong and consistent stopping power suitable for both sprint and endurance use. The cockpit is fully race-prepared with an FIA-approved roll cage, lightweight components and modern motorsport wiring, while features such as electric power steering, a homologated 60-litre fuel cell and integrated quick-lift points underline the car’s serious competition intent.

The car is in excellent overall condition, with only minor documented contact damage to the left front wing and no structural issues. With very low mileage since completion and a no-compromise rebuild philosophy, this BMW M3 E30 Group A is ideally suited for historic touring car racing, track days, demonstrations or as a high-quality collectible for Group A and DTM enthusiasts.
