Built from the ground up to the HRDC Speedwell class / St Mary’s Trophy regulations using an excellent road car and developed extensively over a number of seasons. This car has been raced with great success. Most notably a podium finish in the 2006 Goodwood Revival St. Mary’s Trophy with Shaun Rainford and legendary racing driver John Rhodes. The rear axle is fitted with competition half shafts, limited slip differential and a Watt’s linkage. MG Midget disc brakes are fitted up front along with strengthened wishbone pans, competition springs, modified lever arm dampers, anti-roll bar and Weller wheels. The interior features a full MSA specification roll cage, Corbeau racing seat, OMP in date fire extinguisher, Smiths rev counter and Smiths gauges. The comes with a straight cut, close ratio gearbox a freshly rebuilt Swiftune 1293cc engine on twin SU carburettors.
