Lotus Twincam ultimate spec big valve head and brand new 84mm BDG / Twincam 12 bolt steel crank. The head was built by John Smirthwait whose name is very big in the twincam circles. The story goes, i have ran numerous lotus cortinas with 2.0 twincam engines, these are like chalk and cheese to a 1500 & 1700 twincam. Mid range torque takes these cars to another level when running a 2.0, which enables you to get up to 200bhp and more. The head was on one of my engines in a car of mine and it pulled like a monster. I saved this head and bought myself an 84mm BDG crank with the idea of building a 2.2 engine which is the next level again. I have too much going on and with a heavy heart ive decided to sell the head and rare 84mm crack which are rare and hard to find. I bought the crank brand new from blue sky engineering in south wales who are known for their quality components. John Wilcox builds these engines and they are very expensive, the main cost is here with the head and crank as you know.

Any serious lotus cortina or escort twincam man has not lived until they have driven a 2.0 or 2.2 twincam car. This will take your car to another level if you like speed.
