Reluctantly, the time has come to sell my pride and joy which has seen me onto the podium numerous times throughout my career and had previously won the championship. A few key points about the car:

The car is currently undergoing a refresh to be sold as “ready to race” – however early purchase offers will be accepted for a quicker sale so please feel free to make an offer (this offer will be removed once the refresh is completed).

*A new fire system will be required to compete as the current one no longer meets the latest Motorsport UK regulation changes as well as new tyres.

 

About the club:

Hailed as the ‘Pinnacle of Club Motorsport’ by BTCC Legend Anthony Reid, the Sports 1000 Championship is looking towards a new era in 2026. Series competitors have gone on to race in Professional Motorsport, such as the 2019 Champion Christopher Wesemael who became a British GT race winner in 2020.

These Sports-Cars are powered by 1000cc bike engines that scream to 13,000 Rpm and offer unrivalled performance that is easily accessible on a low budget.

Sports 1000 cars are faster around Anglesey Coastal Race Circuit than a McLaren P1, Ferrari 488 Pista & a Porsche 911 GT2 RS. 2018 Champion Billy Albone posted a 1m 09.68s lap which is a over 1.5s faster than a McLaren P1!
