Description:

Harry Dinwiddie the current owner originally bought the car in 1973 as wrecked project and first built it into a NCCC autocross car and then into an SCCA race car in 1975. The car ran SCCA Regionals in 1975 and then SCCA Nationals in 76-80 in the SE Division. The car won the SE Divisional Championship in 78 and was runner up in 1979. The car qualified for the runoffs in both 78 and 79. Between 1977 and 1980 the car ran over 30 SCCA races and two IMSA race at Road Atlanta in 79. Harry then sold the car in 1982 while he was racing NASCAR from 80-83. Harry then bought the car back in 1990 as partial wreck and used parts from another race car to repair it. The car has been continuously raced since 1991 all over the country in SVRA, HSR, and VSCDA.

·       421cid steel block SB Dart little M block, 5 hours since last rebuild, Randy Dorton Gen 1 18* Hendrick heads off Jeff Gordan’s car, both the heads and intake are from Hendricks Motorsports. MSD 6AL, Van Delay NASCAR carb, ACP headers, Griffen radiator, Modine oil cooler.

·       Motor has Oliver rods, Callis crank, Peterson dry sump and tank w fresh lines.

·       Brembo 6 pot calipers on the front, 12.8 rotors, Stop Tech calipers and ProSystem rotors on the rear

·       G-Force Tex-101 transmission just rebuilt with less than two hours.

·       Rear is a Mark Williams inside, Strange Engineering, outside axles and trailing arms. Less than 5 races on rear drivetrain.

·       Front shocks are JRI and Rear shocks AFCO’s

·       New steel 300lb rear spring.

·       Coleman seat with head and side supports

·       Seat belts and fire bottle are both current

·       Kerry Hitt nose and hood. Factory doors and rear body work, painted less than two years ago. Body is not perfect but very nice.

·       26-gallon cell ATL

·       Has original SCCA log book as well as HSR and SVRA logbooks

·       Original SVRA Medallion Car.

·       Car will come with 2 sets of wheels: 1 set Superlight Minilite type wheels as well as Aero Wheels. 10 inch all the way around. Fresh mounted set of Hoosier rubber on Steel wheels.

·       Spares: spare Jericho trans, three rear ends 4.56, 336, 370

·       Three drive shafts, 2 sets of rear half shafts. Ext

·       Spare Modine oil/trans coolers and various other items.
