History:

This car was totally rebuilt by Ken Thoroughgood of URS for his own use before being campaigned by Jonny Dimsdale in the UK and Tony Walsh in the European HMR Championship. Owned by the current owner for 5 years it has only recently competed for one season since a complete ground up rebuild.

Technical detail:

Strong Scholar 2ltr pinto engine, freshly serviced Hewland mk9 gearbox. Chassis has been fully inspected and repowdercoated with strengthened roll over hoop and additional rear stay to meet and exceed current safety requirements.  All suspension components have been inspected nickel plated and polished to a high standard. Bilstein dampers valved and tuned by Pickering, two sets of Revolution wheels and tyres, new brake discs, new distributor coil and amplifier from Bestek. All new hydraulic cylinders and braided hoses, freshly serviced OMP extinguisher, homologated 8853-2016 seat belts usable at MSA UK events until 2030.

Set up data and running help available to the new owner who will find this car an easy car to drive and maintain with all components still available off the shelf from URS Racing Services. 

This car is offered at a price well below the cost spent and will provide the new owner with a very competitive and reliable drive in the popular HSCC Historic FF2000 Championship in the UK and European options with the HMR to drive Spa, Nurburgring, Zandvoort etc.
