Description:

The Tampolli SR2 RTA-99 is a sports prototyperace car, designed, developed, and built by Italian manufacturer Tampolli for sports car racing, conforming to the FIA's LMP675/SR2 class, in 1999.

This Tampoli SR2 bears the number 007. It was built in 1999 by TAMPOLLI R. ENGINEERING SAS, lead by Raffaele Tampolli, in Calenzano/Firenze Italy. It is powered by a six cylinder Alfa Romeo engine, prepared by Ellegi Motori, developping 420-450 bhp. The car weighs 675 kg.  
The car was upgraded in 2001, where the crash box was replaced by a carbon one. The car model was then updated to SR2 RTA 2001.

The car has been fully revised in 2026 to a race ready condition. The car is currently referenced by Peter Auto and Master Endurance Legend. It is eligible for racing at Le Mans Classic, endurance Racing Legend and in the more importatant world races.
