1980 'S' registered MGB GT V8.

3900cc Rover V8 engine build by MJA Race Engines, develops around 215bhp on their dyno.  390 Holley Carb on offenhauser inlet manifold. RV8 style exhaust headers (exit through inner wings). Remote oil filter housing and 13 row oil cooler. Electric Water pump. Aluminium radiator.

Fast road clutch with Ford Cosworth T5 Gearbox conversion (I'm told the gearbox had been refreshed prior to me buying it). 

3.9:1 LSD rear axle, supplied by Beer of Houghton, as was the propshaft. 

Front brakes are Wilwood 4 pot calipers, Wilwood drilled discs and Willwood track day pads fitted, braided lines. Rear brakes are converted to discs (volvo) woth MGF rear calipers and braided hoses.  Hydraulic line lock fitted in the car to keep the rear brakes on if needed. Dual master cylinders so front and rear on seperate lines.

Suspension lowered springs with Gaz Gold Telescopic converion all round. Race spec front ARB fitted. Standard rear, with panhard rod.

15" alloy wheels with Toyo 195/50/15 tyres.

Full bolt in safety devices roll cage. Plumbed in fire extinguisher. Kill switch fitted. Outside Pull lever cables just need attached (but they are fitted).

Cobra Race seat with 6 point TRS hans-spec harness.

20ltr foam filled fuel tank fitted in boot floor. Most fuel pipe is 3/8 Kunifer, minimal rubber hose.

Brand new glass windscreen fitted. Front quarter windows are glass, all other windows are perspex. Fibreglass bootlid with lip spoiler. Fibreglass front and rear valences. Front wings are steel with coachline to scuttle flushed in.

Lights and indicators all work. V5C present and in my name, car classified as historic and 3900cc (not a genuine V8 shell though).

Sale includes all MG related spares that I have in the garage!

Just needs a few finishing touches along with the new owners own stamp on it, but starts and drives as it should. Has done 0 road miles since being built, been dry stored but I need the space and money for house renovations, hence sale.

Wil be eligible for many race series throughout UK and Europe, or a lovely Track day car!
