New Heavy-Duty Version of the BMW E30 Group A / DTM Rear Suspension Assembly

Compared with the previous version, the following improvements have been implemented:

* The main M24 locknut has been redesigned with a significantly more robust construction. It now features a larger outside diameter and a 36 mm hex (previously 27 mm). This allows the assembly to be tightened to the specified torque during initial installation, eliminating the need for subsequent re-tightening and preventing the nut from loosening over time.

* The larger 36 mm hex also allows the smaller 27 mm locknuts to be installed in a much more accessible position. The 36 mm socket fully clears the 27 mm locknuts without interference, allowing the adjustment mechanism to be positioned slightly further away from the rear subframe. As a result, it remains significantly easier to access from underneath the vehicle, even when installed.

* The 27 mm locknuts securing the spherical bearing (Uniball joint) have also been reinforced. They no longer feature relieved or chamfered corners and are manufactured to an actual dimension of 27.15 mm, providing a tighter wrench fit and greatly reducing the risk of the spanner slipping.

* The camber adjustment screws have been upgraded to M12 (previously M10) for increased strength and rigidity.

This rear suspension design has been successfully used for several years in the DTM Classic Cup, Tourenwagen Legenden, rally cars, and numerous other professional race cars.

Motorsport component only – not approved for road use.

A core charge of €400 for the trailing arms and rear subframe applies in addition to the purchase price.

Replacement wear parts are also available.

Collection in Frankfurt am Main or handover at the Nürburgring Nordschleife is possible. Shipping is available, although due to the size and weight of the assembly it requires additional effort.
