Bought new from Tony Thompson Racing in July 2021, we had planned to turn this kit of parts into a fresh Appendix K racer. We quickly built up the front suspension in-house (with stainless steel top hat collars and spacers to get the correct caster) however, since late 2021, the project has laid dormant.

The kit of new parts includes:

• Elan 26R chassis (prepped for cassette cage and painted in mid grey)
• Heavy duty front uprights
• Aluminium bronze front hubs (with bearings installed)
• 26R billet stub axles
• Front wishbone set (nickel plated and assembled with NMB rose joints and race-spec bushes)
• Appendix K-legal single-adjustable front dampers with 350lb springs
• Front anti-roll bar (nickel plated) with associated bushes
• RHD steering rack with aluminium 26R rack clamps (and our own design of rack stop)
• 26R front brake discs
• Crosthwaite & Gardiner Girling AR front brake calipers
• CNC aluminium caliper brackets

We also purchased an extremely rare set of genuine Lotus Elan rear brake calipers with handbrake mechanism from TTR, as well as an upper steering column (which we fully refurbished in-house). There are also various bolts included (including a set for the rear suspension). Invoices showing all parts can be supplied to serious enquiries.

To purchase all these components new now, at 2026 prices, would cost around £10,000 plus VAT, so this kit of assembled parts represents a significant saving for someone looking to start building a new Appendix K-specification Lotus Elan 26R.
