Description:

This is a piece of racing history. It is certified by the FIA as eligible to race anywhere in the World that this Class are racing. It has a new FIA Historic Technical Passport (HTP) that is valid to 2036. So with this car you can go to the UK, Europe, USA, Australia etc and race on famous race circuits.

Formula Junior is a globally popular class of historic racing, which features at venues such as Goodwood, Spa, Venassca, Arosa, Laguna Seca, Lime Rock, Watkins Glen to name a few .

The car is a Stanguellini FJ, chassis number 152. Manufactured in Modena, Italy in 1959 and then exported to the USA where it was sold into Argentina. It came to Australia in the late 1970s and then to NZ in the early 80s. This model won the 1958 Formula Junior World Championship. I have prepared an extensive dossier on the cars history and its current very good condition. This is available via the link below.

I'm selling the car as I have 4 historic race cars and at 75, figure it's time to let one go. I'd like to sell it to someone who will care for it for the next period and who may extend its racing history. If it is of interest, get in touch.

PPS: The engine is ok to 8000 rpm but I set the change lights to all be on at 7400 rpm as that's were I prefer to run to..so the lights coming on in the video is well before the max rpm point..
