2000 Audi S4 Competition Race car

Have this 1/5 Audi Sport UK S4 Competition for sale. Campaigned by Champion Racing/ Audi Sport NA in the Speed Vision World Challenge GT series from 2000-2004. This is chassis 004. Derek Bell’s car in 2001 and 2002. The car was sponsored by Speedvision those years and served as the TV broadcast car during all the races. Derek provided in-car commentary during the races for those 2 years. The car has a lot of air time. Also ran by Michael Galati in one race during the 2003 season and Randy Pobst for 2 Races in 2004. This chassis is the only “Evo” variant which includes an updated performance package used for the 2004 season only. This package included a slew of updates from the RS6s Champion ran in 03-04. A list of parts included Marston Aerospace intercoolers ($5k a piece in 04) w/ intercooler sprayer system, larger K04 RS6 Turbo chargers, MTM Exhaust manifolds, updated Intake ducting, upgraded Transmission w/ Ricardo Viscous coupling Center differential, Upgraded fuel system w/ integrated surge tank, and a significant weight loss program putting the car just under 2850 lbs wet.

The car is all original aside from the engine long block which is now an APB engine code from an S4. Car has 1 hour of run time on the fresh engine, 2 hours of run time on the fresh gearbox rebuild as well. We fitted the Drivesport.CA Dog ring gear set w/straight cut gears into the original gearbox. The car maintains the original front and center differentials. Everything was examined and deemed to be in excellent condition during the rebuild.
New front brake rotors and pads were fitted at the time of the new engine. All of the brackets, intake system, bolts were refinished or replaced when we fitted the new engine. Every gasket and o ring was replaced along with the accessories, tensioners and belts. A new clutch was fitted 2 hours ago at the time of the gearbox rebuild. A custom clutchmasters flywheel was fitted at that time as well. We sent clutchmasters the original flywheel and they were able to scan and reproduce/upgrade the old one. The car is mechanically sound and race proven. We ran the car in historics 2 years ago and I regularly track the car myself.

The car has a full custom 3” exhaust coming from the original downpipes. The rear section is vbanded and has a spare section with a muffler than can easily be swapped on. I also have the open turn/down pipes that dump under the car.

I have a slew of spare parts that will come with the car which include a freshly rebuilt spare rear differential, 3 sets of spare wheels plus the BBS wheels installed, the original damaged Numbers matching Cosworth Long block (can be fixed), spare Pectel ECU, Misc spare brake parts, Air jack Stands, Air jack lance, Pectel/motec data cables, misc spare engine parts, original synchro-mesh gearset (still good), 2 sets of spare front axles, spare fuel pressure regulator, spare fpr, spare fuel pumps, original flywheel. Lots more misc parts.

The car is currently on the freshly redone BBS RE wheels. Any photo with those wheels is current. Car currently wears it’s 2001 livery. There are photos of the car from a few years ago in its 2002 livery on 17 mile in Monterey.

I have a spreadsheet and a binder with all the maintenance records I have for the car under my ownership. I also have a thumb drive with all the software needed to run the car as well as all the wiring pinouts.
