Lotus Cortina MK1
The stunning Lotus Cortina is the national class winning historic touring car in Norwegian Championship for 2020 and 2021.
Originally a Cortina 1500, 1965 model, but completely rebuilt as a touring racing Lotus Cortina by Ola Svendsen in 2017 and entered in Norwegian championship serie in 2018.
Developed with support from AH Racing, UK, with extensive specification, including.
- Lotus Engie from Roger Svensson, Sweden
- Alloy clutch housing, diffhausing, doors, boot and bonnet.
- 60 litre alloy aerodynamic fuel tank.
- AHR Koni suspension all around. Single spring leaf rear suspension.
- Rear axle specially to cope with extra stress with shafts from Quaife.
- Straight cut close ratio Quife gearbox mated to a 4,7 LSD.
- Braking system including an adjustable pedal box, special discs and pads.
- Short steeringbox Lotus Cortina.
- Custom Cages welded roll cage.
- 2 sets Panasport light weight 5 1/2 inch, and 1 set orginal Lotus steel 5 1/2 " for the wets.
- Complete race ready with Norwegian car licence for 2024. HTP valid to dec.31st 2028
