Description:

Removed from a very early October 1968 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona delivered new to Le Mans racer Alain DeCadenet. Crashed circa 1970 the complete engine was sold shortly after to Australia for use in Hydroplane racing. It had limited use in that endeavour and was purchased by its engineer owner in early 1980's. Believed on basis of internal inspection by its owner to be a very low mileage engine.

There are two sets of  Weber carburettors including 6 x 40 DCN 18 Webers with competition trumpets and standard lids for air cleaner, 8 x Weber 40 DCN 14 with 250 GTO style trumpets.Further 3 x 40 DCN 14 NOS carburettors still boxes. 

  I have Marananello Concessionaires documentation and Factory motor build sheets. It is believe one of first 20 Daytona engines and has interno number and engine number.
