Here i have for sale freshly rebuilt 1700 Lotus Twincam Engine built on a 701 late Lotus Block. All steel will make a lovely fast road / race engine. Revs really nice. Built by well known Jon Toovey race engine. Rebuilt 45 webbers. Ideal for Cortina / Elan. For Escort would have to change sump and pick up pipe which is easy job. Was pulling hard still at 7800rpm, can rev to over 8000rpm being all steel. Engine builders today are charging £24k + Vat for these engines brand new, makes this very cheap.
