The current owner invested just under £50,000, in addition to the purchase price, with LAS, the UKs leading Airstream RV specialists. The work undertaken included a brand new petrol Cheverolet V8 engine, rebuilt gearbox, new air conditioner, extensive electrical improvements, including 230 volt sockets, solar power, new batteries, inverter and a new Onan generator. It has a new awning in blue and white stripes.The cabin seats and front single beds were re-covered in period-correct velour, along with the dashboard.
