The car: A lwb 1980 Mallock used for hill climbing and sprints over many years with a list of successful owners. It was last set up by Mallock racing in 2023 with very little subsequent use and represents great value for money.

Engine: Full 1698 Clubman’s spec Kent pushrod engine. Italian Weber 48 DCOE carburettors with 38mm chokes. Cosworth forged pistons. Holbay forged rods.Holbay steel crank. Steel rocker gear. 264 camshaft. Holbay dry sump system. Balanced steel flywheel.

Drive train:  Alloy RS2000 bellhousing. AP sintered dual plate clutch. Quaife straight cut close ratio 4 speed gearbox with short throw lever. Ratios: 2.04/1.53/1.20/1.0. Mallock Wob-link rear axle location. Dual bearing BMC rear axle with 4.9 & 5.3 diff’s, with l.s.ds.

Chassis: Wheels/tyres: 2 sets Revolution rims, 10”x13”R, 8”x13”F fitted with 1 set Avon A15 slicks 7.2/20-13 & 9.0/20-13 (4 events only) & 1 set Avon A15 cut-slicks 7.2/20-13 & 9.0/20-13.  AP 4 pot F calipers. 2 pot rear rear calipers. Solid discs.  ¾” AP m/cyls.  Titan high ratio rack.  Adjustable f. & r. roll bars. Reinforced wishbones.  Alloy under & side panels glued & riveted to chassis.  Spax adjustable dampers.  450F/200R coil over springs.

Ancillaries: Rear mounted radiator with electric cooling fan.  Stack rev counter.  Water temp, oil temp, oil pressure gauges with warning lights.  Quick release steering wheel. 12 litre rear fuel tank.  New Facet Red top fuel pump.  Fuel filter.

Bodywork:  Single piece glassfibre main bodywork all repainted 2024. Angle adjustable rear wing with full Gurney.

Spares included:  Starter pack with Andersson plug.  Jump leads with Andersson plug.  Quick lift jack. Spare battery.  Spare nosecone.  Spare set of cycle mudguards.  Fuel pump, water pump belts, plugs. Drive shafts.

 Miscellaneous: Mallock issued ROPS certificate.  New MSUK vehicle logbook.  Rewired with lightweight Racal wiring 2023.  Car & chassis set-up & checked at Mallock 2023.  Seat belts eligible to end 2028.
