2004 Honda DC5 Race Car: Built as one make Championship car as new.

Owned by the existing owner for 10 years, this car has been developed into one of the fastest cars of its class in the UK. Built from new as a race car and was orignally purchased with 4000km (built by Honda for a one make championship). Now fully developed to the following specification:

·      New Bourne HPP K20R engine installed in 2025 and has completed 1 hour of race time only. (293bhp).

·      Dyno run engine and live mapped by Terry Radbourne @bournehpp on a Life F88 ECU through a full motorsport loom.

·      AT Power Throttle bodies on bespoke inlet direct to grill.

·      Lightweight 3’ exhaust system.

·      Life F88 ECU running through a full motorsport loom.

·      5-speed dog box which was rebuilt with 1 hours running    time. (New CWP fitted).

·      Uprated driveshafts and new engine shaft installed 2025.

·      Full AP Pedal Box and Brakes with performance friction pads.

·      AST & Yellow Speed Suspension Options. (2 Sets)

·      Full rose jointed Suspension set up to front and rear with anti-roll bar to front and rear. 

·      Genuine Carbon Front and rear door panels, boot and bonnet.

·      Wheel Tyre options:

o   6 x 8” RPF1 (225 45 17 Yokohama A052 tyres) (1 race old)

o   6 x 9” RPF1 (245 40 17 Goodyear Slicks) (15-minute use per tyre)

o   6 x Yokohama 245 40 17 A052 New Tyres

o   4 x Race wheels with Uniroyal Rain tyres.

o   2  x Team Dynamics 225 45 17 Good A052

·      Corbeau Kevlar seat and New Corbeau harnesses.

·      Full AIM dash running to Life ECU with Cartek switch panel and master switch.

·      Lifeline 2.25kg zero electronic fire system (In date)

·      Bespoke fuel system with Bosch High pressure pump and return swirl pot system.

·      Bespoke Radiator, Header tank and breather tank.

·      Development 2026 aero options for further performance gain.

·      Spares: CWP, Front and rear Bumper, Door, Wing, ARB INC.

Driven by Adam Shepherd it has lapped Brands Indy at 50.3 on slicks and 51.5 on A052’s. In lap terms this puts it front row in racing Hondas, CSCC, and CTCRC and will win with the right driver. 

The car has been looked after to touring car standards and maintained regaless of cost, can be viewed in ME19 Kent.
