Ford Cortina Estate Mk1 Pre-Airflow Deluxe
1964, 1200CC
This car has been in the same family from new, in great original condition.
The paint work is faded as can be seen in the photos, I am hoping to have time to machine polish it soon as I am sure it will come up like new. Has some great patina in palaces. As you will see in the photos, there are some marks and dents here and there but that adds to its originality.
It drives well and had a valid MOT/TUV until 07.2020. The only thing that I could notice that it would need for the next MOT/TUV are two small rust holes welded, these can be seen in the photos.
I have had a good look around the car and all the panels seem to be original, the underneath/chassis is in great original condition. The only previous weld repairs that I could see are the usual front suspension top mounts, other than that it is untouched and rust free apart from the already mentioned small rust holes.
Interior in intact and original, of course not perfect but perfectly usable. In fact, very good apart from the door cards.
The chrome work is great for its age, all intact and still very shiny.
