Description:
This is a Lotus 23B that was re-bodied with wider wheels and aluminium body by John Harvey in the UK in 1968. It has history in the UK and Germany before I imported it to Australia in 1996 when it had a full back to bare chassis rebuild. The car is very competitive holding the Group O lap record at Morgan Park and has had many outright and class wins including the Jill Patterson Motors Trophy (EC), Queensland Tourist Trophy and several Lionel Ayres trophies. The car has a full race 1600cc Twincam motor (has run with a Coswworth FVA), twin-plate AP clutch and Hewland MK5 LSD. A spare body set and GRP moulds for front and rear body pieces come with the car I also have a spare engine and other spares available for separate purchase. An Australian C of D and Group O logbook and older UK C of D come with the car. Located in Brisbane Aistralia. Having achieved octogenarian status recently it's time to pass this wonderful car on to someone younger. Shipping at buyers cost but happy to help with shipping process here in Brisbane.
